Gas Tank Amnesia Script

Prius, getting their vehicle delivered to them by a salesman

sitting in the back seat.

Cut to a shot of the salesman sitting in the back seat with his Salesman: Congratulations on buying this new Prius. Any questions?

head between the two front seats.

Husband: What side is the gas tank on?

Salesman: The driver's side, but with the amount of time between fills, you could easily forget what side it's on.

Cut to a black screen with white text that

reads: A FEW WEEKS LATER

The couple is in their Prius waiting at a busy gas station for a

chance to fill up their vehicle. All the pumps are full and the couple

is just sitting there waiting. The husband is driving.

They are next in line and a vehicle starts to move. A big truck is

waiting behind them with a gruff looking driver who is impatient. Wife: We're up. What side is the tank on again?

The husband gets a horrified look on his face. Dramatic music

starts to play. He looks at his wife. She sees the horrified look on

his face and she gets a horrified look as well.

The husband looks in his rear view mirror and sees the big man

getting impatient and making gestures.

The couple flashback to the salesman delivering the vehilce. The

line he says is in slow motion and said slower this time. Salesman: (in flashback, slower) You could easily forget what side it's on.

The flashback is interrupted by the gruff man honking his horn

and flailing his arms.

The husband looks down at his dash and notices there is an arrow

notifying which side the tank is on and he's relieved. He pulls up

to the pump and starts pumping. Voiceover: Start working on your gas tank amnesia at Generic Toyota in Anytown
